Transformational Leadership Perspectives on Iran’s Healthcare Wireless Networks

Abstract

Barriers such as infrastructure deficiencies, regulatory hurdles, and resistance to technological adoption hinder wireless network implementation in Iran’s healthcare system. This study explores how transformational leadership can drive the successful adoption of wireless networks in Iran’s healthcare sector. Qualitative data was collected through questionnaires from participants who had been healthcare workers in Iran to capture their perspectives on leadership and its impact on wireless network implementation. Thematic analysis was used on the data to establish key patterns and insights related to the association between leadership and wireless network adoption. Findings revealed healthcare organizations developing transformational leadership practices may create an innovative and adaptive culture essential for the integration of technology in healthcare. Transformational leadership was found to enhance employee engagement, facilitate the integration of wireless networks, and foster a culture of continuous improvement. However, barriers such as inadequate training and resistance to change remain significant obstacles. The study emphasizes the need for leadership focusing on adaptability and innovation to overcome these challenges. The results offer practical guidance for healthcare leaders, inspiring them to embrace change and innovation, and providing them with the tools to successfully implement wireless technologies in healthcare systems, as well as inform policy makers and leaders of organizations committed to enhancing technological capabilities in the healthcare sector.
