Therefore, fostering a motivated and high performance team to handle and overcome design issues and construction barriers is essential. While a great deal of research already exists on effective teamwork and leadership literature, the research in the context of the architectural field is limited. The purpose of this research study is to fill a gap in the literature by exploring servant leadership perspectives on team performance in Hong Kong’s architectural field. An action research design was adopted, and individual interviews were conducted with five participants who were Hong Kong architects acting as team leaders for data collection. Open-ended interview questions were prepared for the participants to respond to during the interviews via Zoom. Subsequently, transcribed data was generated from the Zoom recordings for data analysis. The findings suggested implications positively influencing the architectural practice and team leaders working in the industry.
