Concerns about algorithmic bias, data privacy, and accountability have risen with the growing use of artificial intelligence (AI) in several businesses. Uncontrolled AI use can lead to social injustice, public mistrust, and legal issues. There is a significant knowledge vacuum on innovative leadership style impact on AI governance. In AI-driven enterprises, transformational and moral leadership can be important factors. This study is a systematic review of AI integration in business where effective leadership is essential to maintaining responsible AI governance, exploring leadership strategies in AI governance, focusing on AI ethics, ethical implementation challenges, and balancing innovation. Key themes uncovered include adaptive governance techniques, leadership development, and international ethical AI standards, aiming to reduce risks and promote sustainable AI integration. Future research can employ qualitative case studies investigating leadership decision-making in AI ethics and quantitative surveys evaluating the efficacy of ethical AI policies in enterprises to further explore the role of leadership in AI governance and guide the development of best practices for the ethical application of AI.
