This study investigates the application of wearable artificial intelligence (AI) technology in chronic disease management from an adaptive leadership perspective. Chronic diseases, exacerbated by contemporary lifestyles, require innovative management solutions. This research aims to elucidate the perceptions and experiences of patients, healthcare professionals, and technology developers regarding wearable AI in managing conditions such as myocardial infarction and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Utilizing a qualitative research design, data was collected through emailed questionnaires. Findings revealed wearable AI significantly enhances chronic disease management via continuous monitoring and personalized recommendations. The study highlights the crucial role of adaptive leadership in addressing these challenges, advocating for ethical AI integration, and promoting flexible, collaborative, and patient-centric care. The broader implications emphasize the necessity of adaptive leadership in overcoming technological integration barriers and optimizing patient outcomes. Future research can involve larger, more diverse populations, employ quantitative methodologies for robust statistical analysis, and investigate the efficacy of wearable AI across diverse cultural contexts. Additionally, strategies to improve patient adherence, enhance device accuracy, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and address ethical considerations in AI deployment warrant further exploration.
