Chuen Wai Lo

Peggy Chuen Wai Lo is a strategic communications, compliance, and public affairs professional with more than 20 years of experience across Hong Kong’s central bank, stock exchange, and major public institutions. With expertise in media and public relations, financial regulation, investigative work, and issues management, she brings a strong record of advancing regulatory transparency, public trust, and effective stakeholder engagement—contributions aligning closely with the mission of JOISS® Research to foster global collaboration and elevate scholarly discourse. Peggy spent over a decade at the central banking institution of Hong Kong, where she served as an official spokesperson, led regulatory communications, coordinated high-profile events, and oversaw public engagement—playing a pivotal role in shaping public understanding of key regulatory issues and reinforcing confidence in the financial system. In parallel with her communications responsibilities, she contributed significantly to regulatory enforcement by conducting independent investigations into internal control deficiencies, customer due diligence gaps, and consumer complaint cases involving banks’ products and services. Peggy holds a Master of Arts in leadership from Trinity Western University and a Bachelor of Finance from the University of Hong Kong. She is committed to empowering communities and advancing the vision of JOISS® Research of empowering scholars and global knowledge exchange. ORCID: https://orcid.org/0009-0004-8163-3025
