Servant Leadership Impact on Employee Trust in Business

Abstract

This study examines the impact of servant leadership on employee trust across various sectors. Findings from the research indicate a 30% increase in job satisfaction with higher employee trust. Increasing this trust has become an important issue in organizations and studies in healthcare, banking, and education show increasing trust among employees enhances service quality and employee dedication. A systematic review of the literature revealed 402 articles on five key variables including the effects of servant leadership on employee performance and job satisfaction with trust serving as a crucial mediating factor. A systematic review methodology gathers, evaluates, and integrates research findings to provide an unbiased summary of the evidence, and the primary subjects of this study encompass servant leadership, communication, trust, employee performance, perspectives on leadership, and cultural impacts. Findings include organizational effectiveness is increased by servant leadership, communication improves accountability, employee performance increases productivity and competitiveness, and trust fosters collaboration. Future research can include the qualitative approach using individual opinions and experiences, as well as the quantitative approach employing statistical data collection and statistical analysis.
