Role of Employee Engagement Practices on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Success

Abstract

Low employee engagement is a significant challenge where very few workers globally are actively involved in their jobs. This problem affects productivity, work happiness, and organizational effectiveness, especially in post-pandemic corporate settings where employee well-being is prioritized. Leadership is essential for promoting workplace engagement via support, communication, and empowerment. Employees feel appreciated and driven in an atmosphere where leaders provide psychological safety, give freedom, and promote candid communication. This study is a systematic review of the literature from databases including Academic Search Ultimate, Business Source Complete, and Google Scholar to examine essential themes such as workplace innovation, motivation, organizational culture, and leadership-driven engagement. Results indicate leadership tactics and engagement methods directly affect staff retention, job satisfaction, and overall company performance. These insights are essential for businesses seeking a competitive edge and stable staff. Future studies can employ qualitative case studies to examine employee experiences with various leadership philosophies and quantitative surveys to gauge the effect of leadership on engagement.

Beyond his corporate experience, Sameer Moudgil is a distinguished folk-dance coach. He is recognized with the Panjab University Roll of Honour for Bhangra, a gold medal at zonal and interzonal levels, and the SCD Government College Roll of Honour & College Color in youth festivals.
