With the effects of mental health on employee well-being, productivity, and organizational success, it has become a keen focus of attention in the workplace. Increased awareness of worldwide mental health problems leads to greater recognition that an individual’s mental health might be influenced considerably in positive and negative aspects by their work environment. Workplaces that prioritize mental health promote not only employee satisfaction and retention but also greater organizational efficiency. Conversely, environments that neglect mental health contribute to stress, burnout, absenteeism, and higher turnover rates (WHO, 2022). These challenges underscore the need for businesses to develop strategies that foster mental health and well-being as part of their core operations. The COVID-19 pandemic gave even more emphasis to mental health in the workplace. Shifting to work-from-home setups and adding the pressures of the pandemic, anxiety, depression, and other mental health problems have grown more severe among employees (Knifin et al., 2021).
