Leadership Strategies for Improving Organizational Efficiency and Employee Engagement

Abstract

Employee engagement is a key factor in improving organizational performance, affecting productivity, retention, and overall performance. Recent research shows about 70% of staff are dissatisfied with their duties, leading to high turnover rates. This is a major issue in fast-paced workplaces where worker experiences include remote work, changing leadership methods, and different company cultures. This study is a systematic review highlighting key factors influencing employee engagement, emphasizing leadership roles, work environment, and recognition as primary elements. Employees are more encouraged and inspired when they realize they have value and this benefits both their team and the organization, whereas dissatisfaction and disengagement have a negative effect on long-term success, performance, and workplace ethics. Findings show the value of staff engagement for businesses, leaders, and individuals when employees thrive in workplaces where personal growth and strong relationships are valued. Future research can include surveys with in-depth interviews about how organizations can ensure long-term growth, improve teams, and foster an efficient work environment through employee engagement.
