Yu Qian Zhang

Yu Qian Zhang is a finance professional and researcher specializing in leadership strategies, employee engagement, and organizational change within the financial and insurance sectors. She pursued a master's degree in business at Trinity Western University where she focused on the impact of servant leadership on employee engagement in high-pressure environments, particularly within Hong Kong's insurance industry. Her research integrates leadership theory, behavioral science, and empirical analysis, examining how trust, psychological safety, and job satisfaction mediate the relationship between servant leadership and employee engagement. Through a systematic review and mixed-methods approach, she explores the effectiveness of various leadership styles in enhancing employee motivation, retention, and organizational commitment. Yu Qian Zhang is particularly interested in understanding how leaders can create supportive and high-performance work cultures through ethical decision-making, emotional intelligence, and effective communication. She bridges the gap between academic research and practical applications, and her work emphasizes sustainable leadership practices fostering innovation, collaboration, and resilience. Beyond her research, Yu Qian Zhang regularly participates in industry discussions, research collaborations, and leadership training programs. She is passionate about advancing evidence-based leadership strategies to promote inclusivity, professional growth, and a more engaged workforce, ultimately driving long-term success for both employees and organizations. https://orcid.org/0009-0003-8817-6253
