Sing Yung Yip

Sing Yung Yip has almost two decades of experience working in Hong Kong, including retail marketing, and corporate planning and development in the food industry. Her marketing role encompassed brand management, campaign planning, content creation, and search engine optimization. She provided oversight on social media and internal communications and acted as the media liaison. Sing Yung Yip transitioned from marketing to corporate planning, where she played a crucial role in leading the complete transformation of a well-known Japanese food and beverage organization in Hong Kong. Her duties included engaging with stakeholders, effectively handling change, implementing strategic human resources systems, launching extensive training programs, and developing marketing strategies. These multifaceted initiatives collectively elevated the organization's performance and bolstered its competitive edge. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology with a marine science major and a Japanese studies minor, as well as a Master of Science in marketing from the Chinese University of Hong Kong and a Master of Arts in leadership from Trinity Western University in Canada. As a mother, Sing Yung Yip is eager to apply her experience to effectively balance work and family responsibilities in the Canadian context.
