Arachchilage Wasula Wijesinghe

Arachchilage Wasula Akini Wijesinghe has a bachelor's degree in hospitality and tourism management, a postgraduate diploma in hotel management, and further pursued a Master of Arts in leadership, with a focus on values-based leadership and employee engagement in the hotel industry. Her research interest is on the impact of leadership traits and behaviours on employee performance in the Canadian hotel industry. Arachchilage Wasula Akini Wijesinghe has several years of hotel management experience with her goal to continually improve organizational culture and employee engagement with transformational and servant leadership methods, as well as creating analytical tools for stewardship and employee engagement. To encourage moral and ethical leadership, her research incorporates ideas from Yangming Wang's philosophy and global citizenship education.
