Dr. Hyne-Ju Huizenga

Founder - Editor

Dr. Hyne-Ju Huizenga, founder of JOISS Research, has a career spanning over 30 years. Throughout her tenure in business management, she worked alongside her major brand’s national marketing director for notable collaborations with the BC Lions and TSN. Adept at overseeing operational transformations, Dr. Huizenga steered struggling units towards stability, facilitating brand transitions amidst mergers and acquisitions. Dr. Huizenga was also the executive director of a non-profit family place society collaborating with indigenous communities in British Columbia, Canada.

Dr. Huizenga is an alumnus of Harvard University, where she completed the Public Leadership program under the tutelage of renowned Dr. Ronald Heifetz. She obtained both her Bachelor and Master of Arts in Leadership from Trinity Western University and completed her Doctor of Philosophy in Management with a Leadership and Organizational Change specialization from Walden University.

Today, higher education benefits from her expertise in her role as a professor for Trinity Western University’s Master of Arts in Leadership program, focusing on Business Stream, foundational, and capstone courses. Driven by Dr. Huizenga’s unwavering passion for academia and a profound desire to uplift international scholars, the Journal of International Student Studies (JOISS) was created and is available at joissresearch.org with quarterly issues throughout the year.

Meher Ahmed

Founder - CMO

Meher Ahmed brings over 15 years of experience to the forefront of media and brand strategy. Her work includes working with the global top-ranking foreign policy think tank ORF and as a creative director at advertising agencies in Dubai and India. Meher’s portfolio includes campaign work for brands such as Disney, Coca-Cola, and McDonald’s and personal brands for luminaries including Priyanka Chopra Jonas and AR Rahman (Academy and Grammy Winner).
Meher’s contributions also feature active mentorship and pedagogic roles with Master’s and Graduate design students at leading Indian design institutes like Pearl Academy and NIIFD. Recognized for her contributions to fashion, media, and advertising on both national and international stages, Ahmed’s work has been showcased through various interviews, editorials, and panel discussions.
In academics, Meher holds a Master’s in Business Leadership graduate degree from British Columbia, Canada. Her involvement with the university extends to a collaborative role as a technology partner, enhancing the educational landscape through digital innovation. Dr. Mosi Dorbayani

Dr. Mosi Dorbayani earned his Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Salford, in Manchester, with specializations in cultural diplomacy, public policy, and project management, and holds graduate qualifications at the master’s level in business economics from Harvard University. He has a Master of Business Administration from Aston University, in Birmingham; Master of Science in psychology from the University of Wolverhampton, UK; and a Master of Laws in international law from University of Sunderland, UK. Dr. Mosi Dorbayani conducted his postdoctoral research studies in law and cultural diplomacy at the University of Lisbon, NOVA School of Law in Portugal, is a member of the International Bar Association, has been pedagogically certified in Teaching Higher Education by Derek Bok Center – Harvard University, and is certified in Public Financial Management, by the International Monetary Fund. He holds a CPHR designate and as a goodwill Ambassador to several UN-affiliated organizations, Dr. Mosi Dorbayani advocates for the Universal Declaration of Human Rights Education, cultural diplomacy, and is an expert member of the Academic Council on the United Nations System, as well as the 2010 Human Rights Hero Award recipient, conferred by UHR at the United Nations in Geneva.

Ninad Bhatt

Ninad Sunilkumar Bhatt has over two decades of academic experience, including professor in electronics and communication and Dean of academics and research and development in private engineering institutions in India. Ninad Sunilkumar Bhatt has extensive practical experience as a quality control engineer and has made significant contributions to his field by authoring and presenting over 50 research publications at renowned national and international conferences and journals. His expertise has earned him a role as a reviewer for distinguished international journals, including the International Journal of Speech Technology published by Springer. Ninad Sunilkumar Bhatt’s commitment to education extends to mentoring and supervising students in their doctoral studies and actively participating in faculty and student development programs to share his expertise with expert talks on speech signal processing and wireless communication networks. His academic journey includes completing a Bachelor of Engineering in electronics from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, a Master of Engineering in electronics and communication systems from Dharmsinh Desai University, a Master of Arts in leadership from Trinity Western University in Canada, and a Doctor of Philosophy in electronics and communication engineering from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University.
